Dean -

I think you are about the most prolific, talented songwriter.

Thank you for writing for George Strait, my idol.

Got an idea for a song I can't decide the melody to. It's called(The Heart.) About a couple that meets in a sandbox as four year olds. Marry after highschool, have children and grow old together. He told her his heart would always belong to her. She becomes ill and needs a heart transplant to survive. They can't find a donor and the hospital calls to say she's passing away. On his rush to be at her side, he gets killed in a car wreck. She ends up with his heart. She brings him fresh flowers everyday to his grave site and says to him. I love you from the bottom of your heart. There's a lot more to the song, but I'm pressed for space. I'm with a.s.c.a.p. Not new at the game of writing. I've met Fran Dycus and talked bass fishing with him back in the 80's. Had a son to raise by my self and put the music on hold. I have a ton of songs, but as you know, getting a break is a hard nut to crack? I believe if the heart was written well, it would touch a lot of folks out there. Thanks for the time. A fan.
