Danger! Gear Table of Contents
So we asked: “How can we really showcase beautiful guitars, set-up some software, crank it up and bring it all together with a different approach from the Gear Guide of last year?” We’ll that’s when East Nashville’s Danger Bear came in and Danger! Gear. began.
Rather than the same ol’ list Christmas list, we picked out the gear you as a songwriter need and attempted to catch that gear in its natural setting. You can only get so much out of a review. So we hopped around town with the jumpin’ indie outfit Danger Bear and captured them putting the gear to the test.
DB’s brand of whiskey-fueled, hangover loomin’ country tunes chased with rock and roll roots makes for a raucous good time at their live show and supreme listening on their new self-released EP. Jacob Jones’ raspy vocals and keen pen made him and his posse, Brandon Wilson, Jack Hughey, Todd Sherwood and Greg Celentano, perfect subjects for our shoot.
We’re not sure what’s more dangerous, a National Geographic shoot or trying to photograph Danger Bear in one afternoon, we’ll let you decide.
