Crosby, Stills and Nash to Team with Rick Rubin
According to Billboard.com, the band is in the early planning stages for the album. The band is being tight-lipped about what songs they’ll cover, though we know they do a pretty mean “Blackbird.”
CSN will launch a national tour this year, which will commemorate the 40th anniversary of their debut album, Crosby, Stills and Nash.
Also on the horizon is a box set collecting the solo work of Steven Stills, as well as Reflections, a new box set which compiles 64 tracks from the solo career of Graham Nash (out tomorrow on Rhino Records).
Nash reportedly hates nostalgia, but admitted to enjoying the process of assembling Reflections:
“I was forced to look back at my musical life, and it was very interesting. Seeing all that stuff and what I wrote about emotions and love and tears and laughter and anger, it was quite a journey. I came away with the feeling that I might be worth a sh*t.”
