Denison is great! I was first introduced to Of Joy and Sorrow, and that record will always break my heart. It’s funny he calls it his slump. Of course, the rest of his records are amazing as well.

I really enjoyed this, especially the background on Philly as I have only ever seen Denison in the UK (at the Greenbelt Festival). I am hoping the record shows up soon on emusic!

I loved reading this. Denison has been one of my favorite musicians for over 10 years, and I actually live a few blocks away from him (I believe) in Philly. His songs about Philadelphia ran through my mind when I first moved here, and I saw it first through his “eyes”, his songs.

I will always thank him for that. I never thought I would actually live here when I first listened to songs about the city- but I am so glad I had the great opportunity to do so.
