Some good news this Valentine’s season.
Singer-songwriter Ryan Adams and actress-musician Mandy Moore are engaged.
The two first started dating in December 2007, and remained together until July of 2008. Adams blamed the media, to some extent, for their break-up.
“Mandy is one of those genuinely sweet angelic people you wish to meet your whole life,” Ryan told OK! in a statement last year. “I am grateful for our friendship and how it allowed us both to grow and learn more.”
“Unfortunately I am allergic to paparazzi and have found the best antidote to that sort of nonsense is staying behind the guitar and typewriter…”
Last week, Adams posted a photo of the reunited pair on his blog. Now Moore’s publicist has confirmed that the two are engaged.
No word on how this will effect Adams recently shelved music career.
But perhaps we’ll be hearing news of some little singer-songwriters, soon.
