For their recent reunion tour, their first as the Dead since 2004, the band formerly known as the Grateful Dead has been digging deep into their catalog. The tour, now 13 nights into a 23 date run, is being scrutinized and memorialized on dead.net, where fans have been dissecting set lists and David Lemieux, the band’s audiovisual archivist, has been providing historical context for the band’s latest jaunt (you can also view photos and download each show shortly after it takes place). For the tour, the Dead are dipping deep into their storied catalog, as well as busting out some great covers, including “The Weight,” “Tomorrow Never Knows,” and “Knocking On Heaven’s Door.” Check out Dead fan Zomby Du Wulf’s breakdown of the songs they’ve played so far.
