Thom Yorke, Bon Iver Contribute Songs to Twilight 2
Chris Weitz, director of Twilight sequel New Moon, announced at San Diego’s Comic-Con that two indie rock favorites would be contributing original tunes to the latest installment of the wildly popular tween vampire movies that are more hormones than horror.

Country-pop siren Taylor Swift may enjoy the adulation of millions of teens, but her musical tastes are expanding past the bubblegum crowd. Country Stars Play the White House
“Something’s going right if there’s a banjo in the White House.” That’s what bluegrass singer/fiddler Alison Krauss had to say after her inaugural show at the Obama residence. On Tuesday, Krauss and her band, Union Station, played to a packed crowd of high school students from Tennessee and Virginia. Country stars Brad Paisley and Charlie Pride filled out the bill in the East Room.
