Love Mr. Crenshaw's writing...AND his interpretations. His version of Dave Alvin's "Wanda and Dwayne" is one of my all-time favs.

I recently won the Teluride CO. Troubadour contest! just wanted to say,all the folks back home think I finally "made it" but we songsters know it's on to the next sack of tunes. I am grateful to the "Planet Bluegrass folks" for the recognition and the opportunity to meet a bunch of great songsters who deserve that recognition as much as any of us. Mostly I am grateful to the folks out there that still dig a good song! Peace, Mitch Barrett.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a new album from Duane Eddy? Seems only fair.
He's out working, and will be at the Guitar Town Festival at Copper Mountain, Colorado, August 9.

Duane Eddy has finished his all new CD. It's called "Artifacts Of Twang" and was recorded in the Nashville, Tn area. Monroe Jones produced the project and Brian Setzer, Phil Everly and Griffen House are on the CD with Duane.
