I have enjoyed your music for 40 yrs. I fell in love with Closer to the Bone the 1st time I heard it, for it is my life. I close my eyes and think of my wife, my kids and my lady.

Mesmerizing!
While so enjoyable, I find myself driving to work crying while listening to some of these songs. Earthy and real are words that come to mind, as well as soul-searching. Songs that make me ponder real life issues that I am facing.
Love don’t live here anymore, may just qualify as one of the saddest songs ever written, yet it is pure genius and magnificently written.
I love lyrics and Kris K is one of the greatest poets of our time.

I love the whole album. The song that truly caught my attention on a first hearing was the lovely, “Holy Woman”. It’s a brilliant song. Kris is among the poets.

There have been many who’s work has inspired and consoled, but none so than Kris Kristofferson. There are so many things about the man’s writing but it’s his economy of words that impresses someone as verbose as me. I will always have time to listen to what Kristofferson has to say.
