Nov/Dec 2009 On My Deathbed Contest Entry
Love this magazine. The On My Deathbed article was a great idea and a fascinating read.
I am a 22-year old bass guitar songwriter. I live in Lafayette, IN and I moved there from Hastings, Nebraska to further pursue my musical career. Many people ask why I would want to move to Indiana but my longtime friend had big dreams and started a recording studio; Darkwood Recording West Lafayette, IN. I find the contest title somewhat fitting because its rough to make a honest living playing music for me anyways and I sometimes feels like I’m on my deathbed. The view of corn is nice though.
