Billy Bragg Covers Joanna Newsom For The Voice Project

Did you ever wonder what delicate flower Joanna Newsom’s songs would sound like sung by a man in a thick British accent? Well, wonder no longer. British folk music icon Billy Bragg has covered neo-folk icon Newsom’s “On A Good Day,” off her latest, Have One On Me, for The Voice Project, a charity that benefits women in war-torn Uganda. Previous contributors have included Dawes, Joseph Arthur, Andrew Bird, and R.E.M.’s Mike Mills (covering a Billy Bragg song).
