Still flying high off the viral success of his track “Fuck You,” Cee Lo Green takes another step towards blogosphere domination by covering Kings of Leon’s new single, “Radioactive.” Recorded for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge series of covers, Cee Lo strips down the stadium-ready original and puts his own soulful spin on it. Kings of Leon’s music has previously been a popular choice in Live Lounge sets, with “Use Somebody” notably taken on by Bat For Lashes and Friendly Fires.
Cee Lo’s new album The Lady Killer is out November 9 on Elektra/Asylum and is currently streaming on NPR Music. Read our illuminating Kings Of Leon cover story here.
