The Americana Music Association has announced its Top 100 Albums of the Year, based on “those records reported to the Americana Airplay Chart during the period of November 17, 2009 through November 15, 2010.”
This rubric means that 2009’s much-buzzed about Crazy Heart Original Motion Picture Soundtrack topped the list at 7,946 spins. The #100 spot goes to Rosie Flores & The Pine Valley Cosmonauts, whose album Girl Of The Century was released on Bloodshot Records.
