NPR Music is streaming Bright Eye’s seventh studio album, The People’s Key, in it’s entirety today, as part of their First Listen series. The album drops February 15 on Saddle Creek.

Says NPR’s Robin Hilton: “I won’t mince words: This is the best record Bright Eyes has ever made. In fact, it’s the best record the band’s frontman, Conor Oberst, has ever been a part of.”

That’s a pretty big claim. Head over to NPR to listen to The People’s Key now. If time is really an illusion, as Oberst seems to be saying, you should have no compulsion about diving right in.

The People’s Key Track List:

1. Firewall
2. Shell Games
3. Jejune Stars
4. Approximated Sunlight
5. Haile Selassie
6. A Machine Spiritual (In the People’s Key)
7. Triple Spiral
8. Beginner’s Mind

10. One for You, One for Me
