Topspin Adds Concert Videos To Direct-To-Fan Platform

In March, Topspin Media introduced a self-service model for their direct-to-fan software tools. Now the company has partnered with concert video startup LiveJam HD to give Topspin users access to concert video production, licensing, and distribution tools.

LiveJam HD works with artists like Widespread Panic to produce high-quality concert video recordings and provides a storefront for consumers to buy DVDs or downloads, as well as offering artists sharing and integration features for the web.

Topspin’s e-commerce services were already geared not only towards musicians but also filmmakers (not to mention authors), so the partnership with LiveJam combines previous areas of expertise. With the March updates to the platform, Topspin also introduced an end-to-end ticketing platform. With the new concert video tools, Topspin becomes an even stronger player in the important live music space for artists.

Another of Topspin’s advantages in the marketplace is their ability to offer customizable product bundling. Now, in addition to offering tickets, merch, downloads and CDs to fans across a plethora of media, the LiveJam partnership will help artists continue to monetize their concerts after door-guarantees and ticket sales have been collected and merch has been sold on-site.

The basic Topspin platform is available for $9.99 a month, while Topspin Plus is $49.99 a month and Topspin Enterprise is $99.00 a month.
