Trent Reznor and Karen O Cover Led Zeppelin, Weezer Cover Radiohead and More

Coldplay have unveiled the lyrics to their upcoming single, “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall,” on their official site. The band, who are gearing up to play some European summer festivals, will release the single digitally on June 3. Read the lyrics here.

Trent Reznor has teamed with Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O for a reprogrammed cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song.” The duo’s version will appear in David Fincher’s upcoming film The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, which Reznor is doing the soundtrack for.

Weezer, no strangers to the covers game, have posted a video of the band covering Radiohead’s most challenging epic, OK Computer‘s “Paranoid Android.” One commenter writes: “I’m looking forward to Radiohead’s cover of ‘Buddy´╗┐ Holly’.”

Wilco closed Seattle’s Sasquatch Music Festival yesterday with a two-hour performance. You can stream the whole enchilada, from “Ashes Of American Flags” to “Hoodoo Voodoo,” right now at NPR Music.

Coachella gets supersized: Next April, the ultra-hip Indio, California music fest will expand into two consecutive weekends; April 13-15 and April 20-22. Both weekends are slated to feature an identical lineup.
