And now something completely different. This September, the organizers of the popular music conference Next BIG Nashville will debut SoundLand, a four-day extravaganza boasting “music, art, field trips, and fun.” There will also be music business panels and artist-lead workshops.

Participating artists will be announced shortly, but will include a healthy sampling of local talent and national and international acts. Be the first to find out who’s playing by following SoundLand on Twitter and/or Facebook.

SoundLand will run from September 21-24 in Nashville, Tennessee. Venues will include Mercy Lounge, Cannery Ballroom, Public Square Park, Third Man Records, 12th & Porter, MAI, The Basement, The Station Inn and more.

You can currently pick up earlybird wristbands to the indoor and outdoor event for a mere $35 dollars at nbnsoundland.com. Wristbands will allow you access to every show.

Next BIG Nashville, launched in 2005, took huge steps in 2010 towards becoming Music City’s most unique event. Last year’s conference included Kings Of Leon’s Caleb Followill, Big Machine Records founder Scott Borchetta, Tim Westergren from Pandora, and Troy Carter, manager of Lady Gaga. Yeasayer, David Bazan, RJD2 and JEFF The Brotherhood all put on legendary shows.
