This is usually where a company posts something witty to make themselves look cool and appealing to college kids. But, since you’re already here, we’re guessing that you already have an interest in what we do and who we are. So let’s just skip that.

American Songwriter seeks ambitious and energetic interns with a strong interest in “the craft of music.” Internships are unpaid, and require 15-30 hours per week in the office and can be used to gain college credit. Our internships run in cycles: Spring (January to May), Summer (June to August), and Fall (September to December). All internships are based in Nashville.

Multimedia Internship

Interns must have a working knowledge of video editing programs (iMovie, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and must be able to submit examples of previous work.

Multimedia Interns will assist with producing and editing video and audio content for AmericanSongwriter.com. The intern will work directly with the editors and marketing director to help produce content for festivals and events sponsored by American Songwriter. Intern will be expected to be available for filming during some nights and weekends.
