"We're going to play a lot of new songs from the album tonight," said Bird, who was battling a cold. "They really are fun to play. I've never felt so ceremonious about a record before."

Thanks to a equipment failure, the band ended up performing several Break It Yourself songs acoustically, which they'd never tried before. "That was fun," said Bird, who noted that the whole thing was "serendipitous."
