Check out this great new video from Southern rockers and Bloodshot recording artists Ha Ha Tonka.The video was shot at Ha Ha Tonka State Park in Camdenton, Missouri, the inspiration for the band’s name.
“We’ve wanted to shoot a video in our namesake Ha Ha Tonka State Park for a while now,” says guitarist Brett Anderson.”It was our director Brook Linder’s idea to shoot the video with super 8mm film. The shots, colors and everything that he captured turned out really great.”
“‘Lonely Fortunes’ in a way is sort of our austerity anthem,” adds lead singer Brian Roberts. “We were largely inspired to write the song because, you know, a lot of people have it rough right now… since the recession hit and we see that driving around the country. Sometimes you can work hard and do your best and it doesn’t pay off monetarily but you are rewarded in other ways. We tried our best to capture that in this song.”
The band will hit the road with Langhorne Slim and later, Murder By Death beginning this May.
