We’re excited to bring you the debut EP from Danny Chait – an Brooklyn indie rocker with classical vocal training, who counts both Billy Corgan and bygone romantic composers among his influences. Chait will release The Back Room on July 10th, but you can stream it in its entirety below; listen for the kick-off single “On” in particular.
“It’s taken a while to put The Back Room together, but I’m excited to get it out to people,” Chait tells American Songwriter.
“When the decision was made to create this EP, I let a close friend of mine along with a few others browse through a bunch of my demos I’ve collected over the years. ‘The Back Room’ is a culmination of 5 of those demos. I recorded this album in my bedroom. I gave up almost everything to have the time and equipment to be able to make this record, but there’s never been another choice for me — being a musician is all I’ve ever wanted to do since I picked up a guitar.”
