I WROTE THIS SONG: I was thinking about how the media only covers bad news and how when people come together as a community to help out their fellow man it gets largely ignored by the press. That’s how the media responded to the flood in Nashville. However, the story they didn’t want to report was there were so many good souls who came together to help their neighbors and rescue those in danger, and I felt this was a shining example of the human spirit and wanted to honor that in a song.

Aaron Heuke was the only songwriter to secure two spots among the 25 Finalists in Ronnie Milsap’s “Country Cut” Contest.
