Do you like music? Do you like beaches? Do you like music that’s performed on beaches? Then you’ll be excited to hear that The Hangout Music Fest, Gulf Shores, Alabama’s premiere rock event, is returning once again. The initial headliners for the festival, which runs from May 17-19, were announced today.
Topping the bill are Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Kings of Leon, The Shins, and The Trey Anastasio Band. Other confirmed acts include Bassnectar, Kendrick Lamar, The Black Crowes, Slightly Stoopid, The Roots, Steve Aoki, Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding, Bloc Party , The Breeders, Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers, Gov’t Mule, Jim James, Jason Isbell, Shovels & Rope, The Weeks, Moon Taxi, Moe. and Public Enemy. What more could you want in a festival lineup?
How about a yet-to-be-announced additional headliner? If the above poster is any indication, another big name will be added to the bill soon.
