Hailing from Baraboo, WI, the freakishly talented circus town of 10,000 residents (see Phox, Boom Forest, and Foreign Fields) Nashville transplants Daniel and the Lion come from rare stock, a folk-pop duo of songwriter’s songwriters that are both widely appealing and positively authentic. Comprised of classically-trained percussionist and pianist Daniel Pingrey and lumberjack-meets-sensitive singer Jimmie Linville, Daniel and The Lion write songs that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.
