One would be forgiven for thinking that would yield an album that sounded similar, but in fact, the trust and camaraderie that we built making The Moment freed us up tremendously. It allowed us to make a bolder, more adventurous record. Idyllwild is a complete expression, not just of my own vision, but of the shared visions of all of us working together.”
