BIRTHDATE: 11/23/93

HOMETOWN: Laguna Beach, CA

CURRENT LOCATION: Minneapolis, MN

AMBITIONS: Songwriting, Composition, Arranging, Producing

TURN-OFFS: Insincerity.

TURN-ONS: Any girl in any sort of band ever.

DREAM GIG: Playing drums for some off the wall band like Earth, Wind, and Fire

FAVORITE LYRIC: That’s tough. Here is one that comes to mind.
“We can wait in the shadows of mourning
But to wait just betrays what’s to come
There’s nothing, there’s no one, no cause
And still we believed in it all
The sweet feeling’s gone”
“Sweet Feeling” by BRMC

CRAZIEST PERSON I KNOW: My friend Benjamin Kelly is about as crazy as it gets. He plays electric and upright bass, has a handlebar mustache, manages and produces his own theater company, and spends 3 weeks ever year cleaning up vomit, blood, and fecal matter at the Minnesota State Fair.

SONG I WISH I WROTE: Right now I would say “Strings That Tie to You” by Jon Brion

5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH:Damon Albarn, Yukimi Nagano, Sufjan Stevens, James Mercer, and Annie Clark

MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: I saw Little Dragon at SXSW for the first time this year. Unreal.

I WROTE THIS SONG: This song is about what it means to grow up and find your place in the world. It’s about my own childhood and my anxieties and fears about discovering who I am and what I am supposed to do. It’s a song about hope in spite of difficulty and loss.
