FAVORITE LYRIC: ‘Like a river that don’t know where it’s flowing, I took a wrong turn and I just kept going’ (Hungry Heart- Bruce Springsteen)

CRAZIEST PERSON I KNOW: Most of my friends back home are pretty wild so this is a tough question. I’d have to say my friend Ed Piccolino. He started working for my dad awhile back and man does this guy have some stories.

SONG I WISH I WROTE: “Bless the Broken Road” by Marcus Hummon, Bobby Boyd and Jeff Hanna. Lyrically and Melodically sound.

5 PEOPLE ID MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: Bruce Springsteen, Jason Isbell, Jerry Seinfeld, Kacey Musgraves, Tiger Woods

MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: Probably The Drive-By-Truckers at The St. Patty’s Day festival in Columbia, SC. My friend Drew and I were 16 years old and cruised up there for the day. The energy of that show was incredible! I’ll never forget it.

I WROTE THIS SONG: My friend Bobby Brinker and I had a write scheduled at 10am one morning and we started working on an idea that hit a roadblock. About two hours later we decided to scrap it and start something new. I had a melody saved in my phone so we started grooving on it and nailed down the first verse. Bobby had to leave for work but he told me to continue to write if I had ideas. Normally in this situation I would book another write to finish it with Bobby but I had to keep the vibe going. I finished the song in about 45 minutes and sent the worktape over to him for suggestions. He called me and said something along the lines of, ‘Wow… sounds great man, I don’t think we should change anything’. Now it’s one of my favorite songs to play out.
