Springsteen’s First Seven Albums To Be Released As Box Set

Columbia Records/Legacy Recordings announced plans to release Bruce Springsteen: The Album Collection Vol. 1 1973-1984, a compilation of newly-remastered versions of Springsteen’s first seven records on both vinyl and CD. This collection marks the first remastered release of each album on vinyl, as well as the remastered debut of five of the CDs.

The box set will include a 60-page book featuring original press clippings, memorabilia, and rarely-seen press photos. Each album will come in a recreation of its original packaging. The remasters were engineered by highly-acclaimed engineer Bob Ludwig, with assistance from Springsteen and engineer Toby Scott.

Bruce Springsteen: The Album Collection Vol. 1 1973-1984 will be released November 17.
