I still feel like a child, but I’m not
I still want all those things you know I haven’t got
I had so many plans
Somehow they all got shot

But I still have faith and believin’
I still have hope for every changing season
I don’t think it’s too late to turn this car around
go find all those dreams I left in the lost and found

Lost and Found
Lost and Found
They say failure’s not in falling, but in staying on the ground
You’ll find more joy in traveling than in the destination
More pride in the process than the final creation
Through the wind and rain,
the night and the day,
It’s not if you win the game-
It’s all in how you play

Let’s drink a toast to auspicious beginnings,
late bloomers and lost winnings,
lottery tickets never cashed in,
first loves you’ll never have again,
the falling leaves, the changing tides,
all the scars you cannot hide,
broken promises, wasted time

Lost and Found
Lost and Found
They say failure’s not in falling, but in staying on the ground
You’ll find more joy in traveling than in the destination
More pride in the process than the final creation
Through the wind and the rain,
the night and the day
It’s not winning the game, as much as how you play

Well, I see you there and I can tell
you still feel like a child, but you’re not
and I know you still want all those things-
all those things you haven’t got
You had a lot of plans, Honey, but all your plans were shot

You can still have faith and believin’, there’s hope in every changing season
It’s never too late to turn your car around
Go on back to claim those dreams you left in the lost and found
