SONG: If It Don’t Kill You

BIRTHDATE: June 8, 91

HOMETOWN: Bartlesville Oklahoma

CURRENT LOCATION: Magnolia, TX, northwest of Houston.

AMBITIONS: I’m someday going to have a small farm and recording studio with a bunch of air streams converted into small houses for travelers and musicians to stay in.

TURN-OFFS: Those kids that go to music stores to practice their shreds

TURN-ONS: Taylor Andreozzi’s art and photography.

DREAM GIG: I don’t really know. I really enjoy playing small rooms full of people.

FAVORITE LYRIC: Though I walk through the valley of the the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

SONG I WISH I WROTE: Cotton Dress. Shellee Coley wrote it, she stole one of our songs “Shade From The Storm” and put it on one of her records, so we stole Cotton Dress and put it on Water Walker so I guess we’re even – only I think her version of both song are better than ours, so I guess she’s one up.

5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: Albert Einstein, Father Yod, Ray Hubbard, Sturgill Simpson, Jesus Christ and I’d hope Jesus would invite Mr Rogers, Dr Seuss, Martin Luther king and Bob Ross.

MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: Seeing Bob Dylan and Leon Russell at the White Water Amphitheater in New Braunfels Tx.

I WROTE THIS SONG: I wrote the first verse in Breckenridge Colorado in June 2014, and finished it in July following a month long adventure through Utah, Nebraska, Wyoming, Kansas and Missouri. It’s a reflection of what I was searching for during that trip.
