“Hummed Low” is one of the standout tracks on singer-songwriter Odessa’s 2014 self-titled EP, and now it’s one of the focal points for Odessa, her debut full-length album, out tomorrow 4/28. The mesmerizing tune has an equally intriguing video, featuring a group of women in traditional, almost pilgrim-like dress letting loose for a night of dancing and a joint or two out in the woods.
“I wrote the words to this song after a long drive through Kentucky with my friend Gil,” Odessa tells AS. “The melody came to me in Colorado, inspired by the pure blue sky and groves of Aspens.”
