For the first time in almost a decade, The Waterboys have released an album full of all new original tunes, Modern Blues. Released via Harlequin and Clown/Kobalt, the record features a slate of veteran session musicians, including Muscle Shoals legend David Hood, drummer Ralph Salmins, longtime Waterboys fiddler Steve Wickham, and Memphis keyboardist “Brother” Paul Brown.
