High-octane New York string band Spirit Family Reunion kick off their summer tour today with a stop in Central Park, where they’re playing a free show with Tedeschi Trucks Band at Central Park’s Summerstage. The tour will also feature appearances at the Newport Folk Festival, Austin City Limits, Mountain Stage, Red Wing Roots, Bristol Rhythm and Roots and many more festivals. Get a taste of the band’s sound with the single “Once Again,” a jaunty throw-down of a number that explores the dynamics of living in the city versus the country, and living on the road versus home.
