Ahead of the October 9 release of his new album Oh My Goodness, Donnie Fritts has premiered the new track “Tuscaloosa 1962.” The track is a star-studded affair, with Jason Isbell on guitar and John Prine serving up backing vocals. Isbell and Prine are only two on a long list of notable guest musicians on the album, including Brittany Howard of the Alabama Shakes, the Secret Sisters, Amanda Shires and more. The album was produced by another Alabama Shakes member, Ben Tanner, along with John Paul White, formerly of The Civil Wars. Prior to sharing “Tuscaloosa 1962,” Fritts premiered “Errol Flynn” at NPR Music.

In addition to the upcoming album, Fritts fans can look forward to Undeniably Donnie, a documentary about the legendary musician that makes its debut September 16.
