CURRENT LOCATION: Nashville, TN

AMBITIONS: I’ve set very high goals and standards for myself as a musician and what I’d like to accomplish in my career. I want to become an award-winning artist, tour the world singing my songs and be able to sustain a long and successful career as a country music singer and songwriter. I absolutely love music and I am very blessed that I am able to do this for a living. I would love to keep doing this and never stop learning or getting better at my craft and what I do. I’m so grateful for the people I’ve met and continue to meet along my journey. I’m very thankful that God has blessed me with this opportunity.

TURN-OFFS: Laziness, unprofessionalism, lying, arrogance, superiority.

TURN-ONS: Ambition, respect, kindness, integrity, honesty, humility.

DREAM GIG: Headlining a sold out show at The BOK Center Arena in Tulsa, OK where I grew up or a sold out show at the Ryman Auditorium or Red Rocks Amphitheater. Those would all be amazing.

STARTED PLAYING MUSIC: I started playing guitar, drums and piano when I was around 12 or 13 years old.

FAVORITE LYRIC: I feel that I have a collection of favorite lyrics that connect with me at that given emotional state or being I’m in at the time I listen whether it’s happy or sad, healed or broken, lost or found, lonely or loved. That’s the beauty of music to me is that there is a song out there for everything. All we have to do is open our ears and our hearts and listen for it.

CRAZIEST PERSON I KNOW: Aside from myself? I’d have to say my family. They are nuts for putting up with me singing and playing ridiculously loud instruments. Gotta love em 🙂

SONG I WISH I WROTE: The Dance recorded by Garth Brooks and written by Tony Arata

I WROTE THIS SONG: I brought the hook “Miss Me Whiskey” into a co-writing session with the amazing singer and songwriter Karyn Rochelle and we just wanted to portray a situation where a person tries to hide all of their feelings and emotions of a heartbreak by putting out a front like nothing is wrong at all but really everything is wrong and you can see it but that person can’t see it. That no matter what they do you can see the fact that they are talking bad, drinking and smoking away trying to hide that pain and regret. It’s a situation that I think most everyone has gone through at some point in a relationship. I am so proud of this song and the way we created it together. Miss Karyn is such an amazing songwriter. I’m glad that we were able to pen this one together.

MOST EXCITING THING I’VE EVER DONE: I attended my first CMA Red Carpet last year and I was honored to have met Willie Nelson. Such a incredible and humble man and a country music legend!
